We are the Parent Teacher Organization at Center Grove Middle School North. Our purpose is to bridge the gap between parents and teachers. Using mostly money earned from membership fees ($10) and concessions throughout the year we provide services for teachers and students. This is primarily done through our Mini Grant initiative. Teachers can apply for grants to help pay for miscellaneous costs they may have during the school year. Examples of grants we have provided in the past include reduced costs for field trips, t shirts for classes, snacks for after school activities, etc. We also provide lunch to teachers during teacher appreciation week and dinner on parent-teacher conference nights. The PTO also organizes several socials throughout the year including a fall Fright Night Social, Incoming 6th Grade Social and Outgoing 8th Grade Social. We help organize volunteers for these events and others throughout the school year such as Scholastic Book Fairs.
